Built to bring discipline to decisions that used to run on gut feeling
Inpost Capital started as a simple question: why does analyzing capital allocation still feel slower and less rigorous than the decisions it's meant to inform? Everything we build traces back to that question.
From manual spreadsheets to structured, repeatable analysis
Inpost Capital was founded on a straightforward observation: teams evaluating capital decisions were spending far more time assembling and reconciling data than actually interpreting it. Analysts were rebuilding the same comparisons, applying inconsistent assumptions, and losing time that should have gone into judgment, not data wrangling.
We set out to change that ratio. Rather than adding another dashboard on top of existing tools, we built a system that structures the analysis itself — consistent methodology, transparent assumptions, and outputs that are ready to act on, not just ready to review.
That focus has shaped every decision since: fewer features bolted on for their own sake, more depth applied to the workflow that actually matters.
Give every decision-maker the same rigor, without the overhead
We believe sound capital decisions shouldn't depend on how much time someone had to build a spreadsheet. Our mission is to make structured, consistent analysis accessible as a starting point — not a luxury reserved for teams with the largest analyst benches.
The principles behind how we build
Transparent by default
Assumptions and methodology should be visible, not buried. If an output can't be explained, it isn't finished.
Consistency over cleverness
A repeatable process that holds up under scrutiny beats a one-off model that only works once.
Time is the real cost
Every feature we ship is measured against one question: does this give people back time to think, not just time to click.
A small group focused on one workflow
Inpost Capital is built by a lean team spanning analysis, product, and engineering. We stay deliberately focused on a single workflow rather than spreading across unrelated tools, because depth in one place is worth more to our users than breadth across many.
Analysis-led thinking
Our approach to product decisions starts from how analysis actually gets done in practice, not from what looks good in a demo.
Direct feedback loops
We stay close to how Inpost Capital is actually used, and let that shape what we prioritize next.
